Baking soda face mask
One of the most common and effective baking soda acne treatment today is very simple to do. You can simply combine the powder with water to create a paste. This is placed for fifteen minutes on the skin. This cleans off dirt from the skin and allows for a fresher looking facial surface. This should be done before going to bed, about four times each week. Of course, like other home acne remedies, you must first wash your face with warm water before doing this. Don’t rub towel on your skin. Gentle patting or dabbing would be preferable.
Specific spots treatment
This baking soda acne cure doesn't differ too much with a face mask. Basically, what you do here is apply the paste directly on the pimple. This can be left overnight and removed with warm water in the morning. You’ll find that baking soda has the capacity to dry out the skin of the pimple to remove trapped oils. Again, use a clean towel for drying.

If you’re allergic, then there are some other acne treatments you can try. Some of these include toothpaste, pumpkin and even garlic. You can use either garlic or pumpkin as face masks. They can also take care of any lingering scars. Placing toothpaste on the pimple is also effective.
Keep in mind that these remedies may take time to be effective. However, you should be able to achieve results if you stick to one program. Also, don’t forget to eat right and get plenty of exercise. This will definitely add to your skins health. Wash your face as often as possible.
