Pubic Hair Removal for Men

Although not all men prefer pubic hair removal, more are starting to try it out and have satisfied results afterwards especially since doing so makes their genitals appear larger.  Still, more men consider being hairy more manly although those that do remove their pubic hair claim to experience an improved sexual satisfaction.

Since the male pubic hair grows in many directions, the hair can also grow in the penis, the area between the scrotum and anus and the insides of the thighs not to mention the scrotum itself and buttocks as well.

Trimming is most preferred for men since it doesn't itch when the hair grows back and there is no irritation afterwards. Sexually, shaving the pubic region for men can make their genitals appear larger although trimming it would have relatively the same effect but with less risks.

Men can also shave which is cheap and the least painful. You can always use an electric razor especially for the scrotum but make sure you use a different one for your pubic region and for your face because using one for the two areas is just plain gross. Electric shavers that discharge shaving gel will ease the shaving process although make sure that your electric razor is water proof. Electrocuting your penis is unimaginable. Furthermore, make sure that the blade is brand new, rust free and sharp. A dull one will only cut your skin and give you irritation, not to mention an ugly cut.

There are now also shavers that are specifically designed for pubic hair removal. Since the male pubic hair is coarser than the females, stubbles from shaving can be irritating and painful especially at first so make sure to shave regularly.

There are also men who wax their pubic area although they usually don't remove it all the way. Men who wax their pubic hair usually just do the bikini line instead of the whole area. Waxing isn't too expensive although the pain you may experience more than makes up for that. The first one is obviously the most excruciating, even for women who are more familiar with the process. However, the subsequent strips should start feeling less painful although you may still feel a pinch of shock from time to time. Still, having a pro do it will ensure that all the hairs are removed from the tip and the hair that grows afterwards are smoother and finer than before.

Nevertheless, it is advisable not to wax the penis or scrotum, only the remaining pubic region. The hair usually grows back 4 weeks after waxing it.

Lastly, although depilatories are good for removing hair in the underarms and legs, using one on your pubic region is not recommended, even for females. These products contain chemicals that are potent enough to give you a nasty rash that will make you look like you have STD. Products that says use only on bikini line should be used only in that area. The pubic region is very sensitive compared to other parts of the body such as the face or legs so products that are generally used for the face aren't always effective for the pubic region.

A moisturizer will help soothe the skin and let the hair grow properly. There are also some products that provide pain relief and prevent the skin from itching and suffering
from bumps.
