Which Pubic Hair Removal Style You Want?

Pubic hair removal has been practiced as early as the 16th century justified by the numerous paintings done throughout the period from Egyptians, to Greeks, to Romans. In fact, several archaeologists have discovered some tools made of copper and brass that were used as shaving tools during the early times.

Before starting to take away your pubic hair, you first have to consider on what you want your pubic region to appear after removing the hair. There are several general options for you to consider each with its unique look and way of removing it. Depending on the style, maintaining your pubic hair can range from easy to difficult so it would be advisable to check out the pros and cons for each appearance.

First, there is the close trim look which will clean up the image of your genitals and prevent the risk of shaving irritation. Trimming the pubic hair to short lengths can greatly improve the appearance of your pubic region, especially for men. Also, you will only have to do the trimming about once a week.

To do the job, you will need either electric clippers or scissors. A comb will greatly help if you have one to use. Next, during your shower, apply some shampoo and conditioner your pubic hair to clean and soften it up. This way, the hair will be easier to trim. A beard and mustache trimmer could make the job easier although it would be awkward to use those tools on your face again. Leave the hair a little bit long because you might get disappointed with the look of pubic hair cut too short. Then comb out the hair to see the result. For the hair located below the genitals, you will either need to have assistance or flexibility. Using a beard trimmer will reduce the risk of you cutting yourself or cutting the hair too short. Afterwards, check the results in the mirror.

The next style is the now popular Brazilian style which means going bare down there.  Stripping out your pubes can give you a liberating feeling especially during the first time.  Wearing low riders and skimpy bathing suits won't render you conscious anymore.  However, shaving to this method will require regularity since you want to avoid stubble burn. Still, waxing is already difficult as it is and doing that in your pubic region will only add to the pain, exponentially.

If you prefer to shave your pubic area Brazilian style, trim down the hair first to prevent the razor from clogging which will result into damaging your skin and your hair. Showering will help soften the hair to make shaving easier. Then, put some shaving lotion. It would be better if you have shaving lotion designed for the pubic region.  Next, make sure the blade of your shaver is clean, rust free and sharp. A dull blade will only cause you excruciating pain and embarrassment. Finally, after shaving completely, apply some shaving lotion to the area.

If you prefer waxing, it would be better to have a professional do it since not only will you be certain that all hair would be removed, but it would be removed from the roots.  However this can be a little pricey especially since the wax they use is different from ordinary wax bought from stores. If you insist on doing it, first apply some wax on the area and prepare for some pain. Then apply the fabric normally the same way you would your underarms or legs. Finally, pull the strip of fabric quickly the same way with underarms or legs. The pain would only linger at first as the subsequent strips would not
compare to the agony of the first one.

Another thing which would make having a pro do it is when it comes to the hairs on your backside. You have to be extremely flexible to wax those parts. After you do, apply some lotion to soothe your skin and prepare for hair growth after 4 weeks. The hair that grows after waxing is usually finer than before.  Finally, the Landing strip, triangle or patch belongs to one group of exotic style. The process is the same basically for doing a Brazilian but you will have to leave a patch of hair depending on the style you want to have.

Pubic hair removal will require you maintenance and care especially since you wouldn't want to suffer any kind of skin irritation in that sensitive part of your body. So before going with it, consider it carefully as letting your pubic hair grow after removing it may be a more irritating and painful experience than the whole shaving or waxing process itself.
